Role Overview:
As a Moodle Developer at AI CERTs, you will be responsible for customizing and maintaining the Moodle Learning Management System (LMS) platform to support our comprehensive AI certification portfolio. You will play a critical role in ensuring a seamless and engaging learning experience for our students while aligning with our commitment to social impact and a global vision. Your work will involve plugin development, course design, user support, system integration, and staying up-to-date with the latest trends in education technology.
Responsibilities:
- Customize and maintain the Moodle LMS platform to meet the specific educational needs of AI CERTs.
- Develop and configure Moodle plugins to enhance platform functionality and features.
- Collaborate with instructional designers and content creators to design and develop engaging online courses and educational content.
- Provide technical support to Moodle users, addressing platform-related issues and inquiries.
- Integrate Moodle with other educational systems, tools, and technologies to create a seamless learning environment.
- Stay informed about the latest developments in educational technology and e-learning best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Business Analysts and Project Coordinators, to ensure the successful delivery of AI certification programs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Education Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Moodle Developer, with a track record of customizing and maintaining Moodle LMS platforms.
- Familiarity with Moodle plugin development and configuration.
- Strong understanding of instructional design principles and online course development.
- Excellent technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse teams and support users.
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced educational technology environment.
- Passion for education and alignment with AI CERTs’ social impact goals.
- Knowledge of AI and its applications is a plus.
